Dr. Megan Anderson PT, DPT

Dr. Megan Anderson began her career as an Orthopedic PT in Seattle, WA in 2009 after graduating from Indiana University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.

Dr. Megan’s interest in Pelvic Health developed after her own struggles with pelvic pain. She was looking for answers and a colleague suggested coursework by Herman and Wallace- the premier Pelvic Health Physical Therapy education group at the time. From the first course, she was hooked and has continued expanding her knowledge learning from some of the best in the Pelvic Health specialty.

She launched her own practice, Megan Anderson Physical Therapy, in 2016. She has helped empower hundreds of (mostly) women in their health journey. A regular attendee of top specialty and PT conferences, she is always learning and growing in the evolving world of Pelvic Health PT. As both patient and provider, she has great empathy and understanding to support her patients through the often sensitive issues they are seeking help for.

Along the way, Dr. Megan Anderson has added yoga teacher, pilates instructor, and mindfulness educator to her title. She loves to bring these elements into her treatment sessions and even teaches an online movement group for pain management and better sleep.

Megan spends most of her time in coastal Delaware with her adorable dog Timon and her husband Dan, who is a Pilot for the Air Force and FedEx. They are always planning their next adventure and taking advantage of all the great places to hike and take a stroll around their home! She can also be found curled up with a great book, enjoying a big cup of coffee on a sunny morning, or building one of the many Lego sets that inspire her! And doing her daily Wordle, too!

Dr. Caitlin Ruggiero, DPT

Dr. Caitlin Ruggiero started her physical therapy career in 2011 after graduating Marymount University in Arlington, VA with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Exercise Science.

Dr. Caitlin’s interest in Pelvic Health was ignited by a school advisor after extensive chats about the type of treatment and relationship Caitlin wanted to cultivate with her patients. Caitlin had a once in a lifetime opportunity to mentor under a pelvic health pioneer Mary Nalls, MPT for the first year and a half of her career. Caitlin then immersed herself in extensive training through Herman and Wallace. Caitlin completed the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in 2021. Caitlin enjoys treating pelvic floor dysfunction for both women and men.

Outside of working Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Timon, Greeter Extraordinaire

While I'm not officially a therapy dog, I take my job of greeting clients seriously.

If I sense you like me and are having a tough day, I may even try to follow you into the treatment room.  My mom usually kicks me out because she says you all have work to do.

I think my most important job is providing unconditional love and snuggles to anyone who will accept them. When I'm not working, I love going on long walks, snuggling on the couch, getting treats from all the neighbors, and keeping all the squirrels out of the back yard!
